The contradiction worth knowing about
MaleMD's marketing advertises a 60-day money-back guarantee.
The Better Business Bureau complaint file for Male MD LLC tells a different story. Customers report refunds refused, and one records the reason given as: *“unable to offer you a refund due to the product being a prescription medication.”*
Those two things cannot both be straightforwardly true. A 60-day money-back guarantee that does not survive contact with the fact that the product is a prescription is not a guarantee — it is a sentence on a landing page.
The advertised price is not the monthly price
The headline is “from $1.64 per pill”. Two figures are reported alongside it, and the arithmetic is worth doing yourself.
| Pack | Price | Per pill |
|---|---|---|
| 150 pills | $245 | about $1.63 |
| 30 pills — one month | $89 | about $2.97 |
So the advertised rate requires committing to five months up front. Buy a single month and you pay roughly 80% more per pill than the number in the advert. That is the pattern this site tracks across the whole category. Why the advertised price and the affordable price are different questions.
What we would want to check, and cannot
The reported formulation is vardenafil and tadalafil together — two PDE5 inhibitors of the same class — in a product described as being for daily use.
That combination raises the question this site cares about most. Tadalafil taken daily means there is no nitrate washout window at all: not 48 hours, not any interval, because the next dose arrives before the last one has cleared. Whether the page says so is precisely what we could not find out.
We also have the ingredient list from a single uncorroborated source, so treat the 6 mg figures as reported rather than established. Why daily dosing changes the nitrate rule.
How to read all of this
A complaint file is not a verdict. Unhappy customers write to the BBB and satisfied ones generally do not, so the record over-represents bad experiences by design, and 72 complaints is not 72 findings against the company.
What it does establish is a pattern in what people complain about — billing, cancellation and refusal of refunds, repeatedly, rather than a scatter of unrelated grievances. Combined with a 60-day guarantee in the marketing, that pattern is worth a reader's attention before entering card details, which is the only claim we are making here.
If you can open the page, send us the price block, the safety text and the billing terms and we will audit it properly. Send it to us.
