We cannot answer questions about your health

This matters especially if you:

• take nitrates in any form, including nitroglycerin, isosorbide, or amyl nitrite “poppers” — combining these with ED medication can cause a life-threatening drop in blood pressure
• have heart disease, or have had a heart attack or stroke
• have low or unstable blood pressure
• have liver or kidney disease
• have a condition that raises the risk of prolonged erection, such as sickle cell disease
• take any other prescription medication

Never delay seeking medical care, or disregard advice you have been given by a clinician, because of something you read here.

Accuracy and currency

We work from professional guidelines, FDA labelling, and peer-reviewed literature, and every article shows when it was last reviewed. Medicine changes. Guidance is revised, drugs are relabelled, and new evidence arrives. We cannot guarantee that everything here reflects the most current position at the moment you read it.
