Our verdict

A small operation with a page that embarrasses several much larger ones. It names the nitrate interaction and the drugs it applies to, explains that untreated priapism causes permanent damage, and flags alpha-blockers and ritonavir by name — that combination puts it in the top handful we have audited. The commercial terms are equally plain: one flat $64.99, no subscription, and no charge unless a prescription is actually issued. The gap is that the $64.99 buys the consult and the prescription rather than the medicine, and the page never says what the medicine will cost.

The same seven checks for every service on this site, all read off its public page. The first matters most: ED medication taken with nitrates can cause a life-threatening drop in blood pressure, so a page that never mentions it is leaving out the one thing that could kill you.

Discloses the nitrate interaction: Yes
“Never use sildenafil (Viagra), tadalafil (Cialis), or vardenafil (Levitra) while taking nitrate medication for chest pain (angina) as it can cause a sudden, unsafe drop in blood pressure.” It names the drugs, names the reason a reader would be taking a nitrate, and gives the consequence.
Warns about erections lasting over four hours: Yes
“Priapism, a rare side effect characterized by prolonged and painful erections lasting more than four hours, has been reported in some users of these medications. Untreated priapism can lead to permanent penis damage.” The second sentence is the one that changes behaviour, and most pages here do not write it.
Lists side effects on the page: Partly
The serious ones are covered thoroughly, but we could find no list of the ordinary effects — headache, flushing, nasal congestion, indigestion — that most men will actually experience. A reader learns what could go badly wrong and not what a normal dose feels like.
Raises heart disease and blood pressure: Yes
“Individuals with heart-related conditions, particularly severe heart failure, are discouraged from engaging in sexual activity involving these medications.” Alongside: “When combined with specific medications, such as alpha blockers, blood pressure medications, or ritonavir (Norvir) … can lead to dangerously low blood pressure.” The alpha-blocker prompt matters for the many men over 50 taking one for prostate symptoms.

What the flat fee actually buys

The headline is simple and, unusually for this market, honest about being simple: “One flat price and we'll provide you with a prescription for up to a 90 day supply.” The figure is $64.99.

Read the line item carefully though, because it is doing more work than it appears: *“Virtual consult through messaging or phone call with prescription (up to 90 pills) sent to your pharmacy or home delivery.”*

What you are buying is the consultation and the prescription. The medicine is then dispensed by a pharmacy, and what the pharmacy charges is not quoted anywhere on the page. So $64.99 is not the cost of ninety pills. It is the cost of being allowed to buy ninety pills.

That is not a criticism of the model — it is the same structure as a video-visit service in this comparison, and it is a reasonable way to sell access to a prescriber. It is a criticism of the page, which invites the reading that the fee covers everything. Generic sildenafil and tadalafil are cheap, so the total will still be modest, but a man budgeting from this page will budget short.

Nothing recurs, and it says so

“No hidden fees, no subscriptions.” Four words that a meaningful share of this market cannot bring itself to write.

Better still: *“If we can't help you, there is no charge. You will only be charged once the prescription is sent.”* You are not paying to be assessed and then told no. Several services we have audited take the money first and disclose the terms at checkout, if at all.

The one thing missing from the product information

Doses. Three drugs are named — sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil — and no strength is published for any of them.

This is a smaller failing here than on a compounded product, because these are standard generics with standard, published dose ranges that any pharmacist can recite. But it still means you cannot tell from the page whether you are being offered 50 mg or 100 mg of sildenafil, and the difference between those matters to whether a trial succeeds. Why the dose is usually the reason pills 'do not work'.

For a man who wants a prescription for ordinary generics, is happy to use his own pharmacy, and does not want to be signed up to anything, this is one of the more straightforward propositions in the comparison — and one of the few where the safety information is written as though somebody expected it to be read.

Add the medication cost to the $64.99 before comparing it against a subscription service, and ask the prescriber for the strength in writing.
