The safety section, in full
We spend most of this comparison documenting what pages leave out. It is worth setting out what one looks like when the omissions are not there.
Nitrates, twice. *“Cialis can cause your blood pressure to drop suddenly to an unsafe level if it is taken with certain medicines called nitrates.”* And again: *“Cialis should not be used by patients taking nitrates as the combination can cause low blood pressure and fainting.”* Both times with the consequence attached, which is the part that changes behaviour. Which medicines count as nitrates.
An exclusion list, not a caution: heart conditions, low or high blood pressure, liver or kidney problems. Plus sickle cell anaemia and pulmonary arterial hypertension named separately as conditions to take advice on. Alpha-blockers flagged as an interaction.
Both sudden-loss warnings. *“Sudden vision or hearing issues — discontinue tadalafil use.”* Roughly a fifth of the pages in this comparison mention either one.
And a real side-effect list: headaches, nausea, facial flushing and hot flashes, indigestion, congested nose, muscle aches, back pain. What those actually feel like.

Check lowest price for PlushCare tadalafil consultationTwo hours, not four
One detail is worth pausing on, because it differs from every other page here and from the drug label.
The standard emergency threshold for a prolonged erection is four hours. This page uses two: *“A prolonged or painful erection lasting over 2 hours.”*
That is not an error in the direction that matters. It sends men to help sooner rather than later, and with priapism the clock is the whole problem — trapped blood loses its oxygen and tissue damage begins within hours. A page that gets you moving at two hours has not endangered you.
It is worth knowing the standard figure anyway, because everything else you read will say four, and a man comparing sources should understand why the numbers differ rather than concluding one of them is wrong.
Pricing changes often — check the current figure.
Check lowest price for PlushCare tadalafil consultationThe doses, done properly
All four strengths, split by how the drug is actually taken: 2.5 mg and 5 mg for daily use, 10 mg and 20 mg as needed. And the instruction sixteen of the services on this site never give you: *“Never take more than 20 mg in a 24-hour period.”*
That daily ceiling matters more than it looks. A man who keeps tadalafil at home and buys more elsewhere has no way of knowing he is stacking unless somebody tells him the limit. Why the dose is usually the reason a pill 'does not work'.

Check lowest price for PlushCare tadalafil consultationNow the bill
This is the part to read carefully, because there are three charges and the page prices two of them.
| What | How much |
|---|---|
| Membership | $19.99 a month, recurring |
| The visit | $129 without insurance; “$30 or less” for most in-network patients |
| The medication | Not included. Brand figures quoted at roughly $15–$17 a dose daily and around $60 as-needed; the generic is called “much more affordable” with no number. |
Credit where it is due: the page says the medication is not included — *“any medication or lab work costs are not included”* — rather than letting you assume otherwise. That single sentence is why this scores well on commercial clarity despite the layering.
But two of the three numbers you need are missing. There is no generic price, which is the number most readers actually want, and the membership recurs whether or not you need another appointment. If your goal is cheap generic tadalafil and nothing else, this is a lot of structure to buy it through. What the same drug costs elsewhere.

Check lowest price for PlushCare tadalafil consultationThe insurance angle is genuinely unusual
*“Often the same as an office visit. Most patients with in-network insurance pay $30 or less!”*
Almost nothing else in this comparison takes insurance at all. And the distinction that matters is the one we set out elsewhere: the medication is frequently excluded from coverage, while the visit is ordinary medical care and usually is not. A service that bills the visit through insurance is using the covered half. What insurance typically covers, and what it does not.
There is also a real refund commitment: *“If we're unable to treat you, we'll provide a full refund.”* You are not charged for being assessed and turned down, which several services in this set cannot say.
What it is missing
Riociguat. The contraindication list is otherwise the most complete here, which makes the one absence conspicuous. It is prescribed for pulmonary hypertension — a condition this page names elsewhere — and the interaction is as absolute as the nitrate one.
A cancellation process. “Cancel anytime” is an assertion. A policy says how, and where, and by when.
A named pharmacy. Prescriptions go to a pharmacy you choose, which is fine and arguably better — but it does mean there is no dispensing pharmacy on the page to look up. How to check a service is legitimate.
The bottom line
If what you want is a doctor rather than a product, this is the strongest page in the comparison. It behaves like a medical service: it tells you who it will not treat, publishes the doses and the daily ceiling, takes insurance, and refunds you if the answer is no.
If what you want is thirty tablets as cheaply as possible, the membership plus visit fee plus an unquoted medication cost is a lot of scaffolding around a drug that costs very little. Work out all three numbers before you decide which of those two men you are.
